Nordic IT Lead

This role is focused on managing the Nordic IT requirements, to align business continuity, ongoing legacy platform requirements, and integration into Standard IT Environment. The Nordic IT Lead is the hub of the relationship with IT and the leadership of the region, serving as the primary point of contact for all key stakeholders. Being part of a global organization and managing a team of 5 within the Nordics.

The Nordic IT Lead works directly with operational leadership to meet their technology needs, including to regular account management communications, regional and warehouse site visits, and internal advocacy and monitoring of technology performance and projects affecting their operations. The Nordic IT Lead reports on the IT KPI’s for Service Delivery and the status of the planned and running projects.

About you:

  • Experience with supply chain or logistics would be highly beneficial
  • Demonstrate expertise around technology procurement, project management, and equipment standards
  • Provide operational leaders with visibility to the portfolio of projects that will affect their scope of operations
  • Advocate with IT leadership on behalf of assigned region to ensure that facilities and operational teams are well equipped to perform their assigned work
  • Assist operational leaders in developing and managing a multi-year view (or “roadmap”) of technology that is necessary to optimize their facilities and financial performance, using the standard application and infrastructure technology path
  • Coordinate with technology teams to ensure that scheduled projects do not interfere with the underlying “rhythm of the business” within their assigned facilities
  • Help coordinate and manage changes to the technology and business process within warehouses to ensure that business disruptions are kept to a minimum
  • Reports on the IT KPI’s and running and planned IT projects
  • Ensure the support, management, security of regional and legacy applications and systems

We are looking for a proactive individual that is commercially aware and understands the importance of customer service and stake holder management and have worked in a customer facing environment. Working as part of a global company you will work with a broad range of stakeholders, working together to achieve the best results.

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or supply chain/ logistics but not a must
  • Previous technology experience, with exposure and experience across a large enterprise environment – familiarity with telecommunications, networking, infrastructure, applications, user devices, and mobile technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple IT projects at once and leading and monitoring a portfolio of projects on behalf of internal or external customers
  • Ability to translate client needs into solutions
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills and engaging a team
  • Able to deal with a high volume workload, strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and able to deliver to critical deadlines
  • Profit and Loss (P&L) management experience
  • Fluent in English and strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Full time assignment –

Start: ASAP

End: End of year

Location: Hybrid with 2-3 days/week in Esbjerg
