Twins Consulting is looking for a Biztalk Senior Consultant (Freelance / Greater Copenhagen)

For a client in Lyngby we are looking for a Senior Biztalk Consultant.

The Biztalk Senior Consultant will be responsible for ensuring application health and quality by providing exceptional technical skills as needed by the organization.


Collaborate with stakeholder/users (and non-technical groups as necessary) and Client (other IT/technical groups and IT process teams) to:

  • Gather requirements for projects or changes
  • User raised issues
  • Network, server, or security issues
  • Conducting GAP Analysis and providing Functional specifications
  • Improvements and enhancements identified or requested
  • Comply with MD IT standards (incident management, request management, change management, etc)
  • Collaborate with other BizTalk team members
  • Provide technical expertise
  • SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experiences
  • Implement all types code/functionality (easy to complex) changes in BizTalk integrations as delegated by Client
  • Knowledgeable with source control (i.e. TFS, VSTS. Github)
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the application/changes
  • Test all changes and document test scripts and test results in accordance with Client standard using applications provided by Client
  • Security configuration, Conduct regression testing of processes when required by Client management for major changes, IFS support packs


Process and Technical Knowledge:

  • Developer skills for C#, .NET and XLST
  • Extensive knowledge about Integrations and Integration design
  • Knowledge on Development, Test execution, Deployment processes.
  • Knowledge on BizTalk application
  • Develop schema and maps using XSLT
  • BizTalk itineraries
  • Deployment framework (BTDF, GAC util, etc.
  • View and debug datasets in BizTalk components
  • Basic knowledge in processes like: Incident, Service request, Problem management, Change and Release management


  • At least 3 years of BizTalk experience
  • Experience in developing integrations
  • Experience with version control
  • System maintenance and support, Report creation and maintenance
  • Work with IT service ticket management system (i.e. ServiceNow)

  • Good communicator in English, other languages would be a bonus
  • Team oriented, open minded
  • Very service minded and proactive approach


Start date: Mid-End April 2021 / beginning of May

Duration: 6 months

Location: Mainly remote (some onsite work in Lyngby may occur)
