Full-stack developer (Nordic Aviation Capital / Billund)

Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is currently looking for a full-stack developer to join a small but dedicated team working with some of the latest technologies in a global company.

You will be part of our development team based in Billund and contribute to further development of the “Operating System” of our company. We develop several web-based applications to support our core business: leasing aircraft to customers all over the world.

What you will be doing

You will be working on our distributed applications powered by Azure, .NET and Angular that makes up our “Operating System”.

On a normal day, you could be doing anything in between:

• Building an event-based architecture of services that are fault tolerant
• Migrate legacy application logic to a decoupled and serverless architecture
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs or performance issues
• Find a clever way to build input-forms with validation for a dynamic schema
• Integrate with internal and external APIs
• Expose and document APIs for internal and external consumption
• Build a fast interface to help our finance and tech ops teams analyze millions of forecasted maintenance events and transactions
• Write performant SQL queries and design databases
• Use of AI / ML for time series analysis, forecasting and classification

As a developer at NAC, you will have end-to-end responsibility. This means that you will be involved starting from the discovery phase, understanding the business domain and all the way through analysis, design and development to automated deployment, monitoring and operation in the cloud. The development includes both maintenance and optimization of existing legacy systems as well as new initiatives such as a state of the art Customer Portal in the making, a forecasting system for maintenance and finance, CRM and risk management etc.

Competencies

• You know your way around the Microsoft Tech Stack
• You understand modern, distributed, Cloud-First architectures
• You have solid understanding of object-oriented programming, the value of tests and good system design
• You can’t know everything, but you are eager to learn and excited about new technologies when it makes sense
• Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written. Danish skills is not a requirement but absolutely an advantage
• Well-practiced with Agile Development Methodology, working in short sprint cycles

Professional qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with C# and .NET in general
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, Web API, or similar web framework
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platform is a plus
