Senior Network Security Engineer (Aeven / Søborg)

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join Aevens network services architect team in Søborg.

• deep in your knowledge with Palo Alto Firewall

Your responsibilities as a Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be attending client meetings, and it will be your responsibility to recognize and understand customer’s commercial needs, and in cooperation with the Aeven specialists, offer stable network solutions meeting the expected quality.

You will:

• Participate in network projects as engineer and implementor;
• Evaluate our solutions’ change requests and use them in a more tactical and strategic context

Your qualifications

You have a strong technical background in network infrastructure.

You have:

• Relevant and adequate working experience and education;
• Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken;
• Experience in understanding of designing secure IT solutions;
• Professional approach and extensive experience within network solution design;
• Knowledge of several of the below technologies:
  • SGT (Security Group Tags);
  • Zero-trust technologies like ZTNA, Zscaler, Cisco NDR, Microsegmentation etc
  • Cisco Firewalls (ASA, Firepower)
  • Palo Alto suite
  • Multi-VRF eVPN;
  • Cisco ACI;
  • Load balancer: AVI – NetScaler – F5;
  • NXOS, CatOS and Cisco IOS System Software;
  • MPLS, WAN;
  • OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS;

It will work to your advantage if you have experience with IT outsourcing, from a customer or supplier perspective, where you gained knowledge of different aspects of transition.

You will be supported by a broad range of Aeven specialists, so you will gain knowledge of technologies that you are less familiar with. You must be able to adopt new technologies to benefit our customers immediately.

This position requires partly physical presence in Søborg, partly physical presence at the customer and also ability to work from home every now and then.
