Your role as System Specialist

In your role as System Specialist in Hørsholm, you will support, maintain, and develop Quality and R&D applications. The applications you will work mostly with are SAS, Oracle Safety Argus and other clinical operation and research applications. You will also be part of application revitalization journey, where we move more applications to modern and cloud technologies.

Fields of responsibility

System operation and support

• Be responsible for support, mainly system troubleshooting and incident handing.
• Work with business and QA to ensure GxP compliance and documentations (Changes, deviations, CAPAs etc.).

System implementation and upgrade

• Be responsible for system life cycle management.
• Execute of application installation, upgrade, application release and configuration tasks.
• Participate in new solution analysis and implementation project, together with project manager, system engineers, validation responsible.

Your qualifications

IT qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science engineering or similar.
• 3+ years’ experience with support and operation of global corporate systems.
• Hands-on practice with system troubleshooting, configuration, and releases.
• Knowledge of application architecture, network, database, operation system is important to have.
• Experience with Pharmaceutical R&D applications is a strong plus.

General qualifications

• Speak and write English effortlessly.
• Demonstrated ability to drive in an international environment.
• Have the flexibility to travel around 10 days a year, primarily in Europe.
• GxP compliance and documentation are a part of our mindset, so it is required that you can follow and document according to quality processes in ALK.

Global IT at ALK is a global organization of approximately 140 employees with three main hubs in Hørsholm, Madrid and Krakow, and IT staff on our production sites and regional sales hubs in Germany, France, and North America.
